Terminologies of Wireless Communication

A2DP:ADVANCED AUDIO DISTRIBUTION PROFILE
The Advanced Audio Distribution Profile specifies the protocols that outline the distribution of prime quality audio content in Asynchronous Connectionless Link (ACL) channels.
AAS:ADAPTIVE ANTENNA SYSTEM
Adaptive Antenna System (AAS) otherwise called Advanced Antenna System may be a technology to alter the network operators to extend the capability of wireless network systems. In addition to it adaptive  antenna systems provide the potential of increased  spectrum potency, extended variety of coverage and better rate of frequency use.Click here to continue reading

Body Wearable Antenna

The body wearable antenna is designed to function while being worn. These type of antennas are commonly used in wearable wireless communication, bio-medical RF systems etc. Wearable antenna is used within the context of (WBAN) Wireless Body Area Networks . In WBAN, the antenna is the key component which supports wireless communication. That includes in-body communication, on-body communication and off-body communication. A wireless communication between human body and WBAN can be established by a wireless body area network connecting sensor, actuator and Iot node on the human body, or on clothes or under the skin.Wearable antennas can be used by people of all ages, athletes and patients for a continuous monitoring of vital signs, oxygen level and stress level.Click here to continue reading

Cooperative and Secure Wireless Communication

Secure wireless communications are needed in today’s world where we cannot find privacy in any devices we see. So Secretive information is needed with the help of cooperative and secure wireless Communications. Information secrecy is linked with cryptographic secrecy is used for secret-key exchange protocol for wireless networks. Cooperative Communications are used to reduce more power consumption and also increase the capacity of wireless networks.Click Here to continue reading

PHOTONIC NETWORK COMMUNICATION

The term photonics was 1st developed from the practical semiconductor light emitters  in the early 1960s .A photonic network uses light as a source to convey the information instead of electronic signals. Photonics is related to quantum electronics. A photonic device component uses laser diodes, optical amplifiers, LED’s and photovoltaic cells for creating, manipulating or detecting light. Photonic crystals are defined as periodic optical nanostructures which uniformly affect the motion of photons .Click here to continue reading

Microwave communication

Microwave communication is a transmission of signals by sending microwaves. Microwaves are radio signals with a very short wavelength .Microwave frequency ranges from 1GHZ to 300GHZ . Microwaves is used to communicate with geostationary satellites as microwaves have small wavelength and high frequency It is a line-of-sight wireless communication technology that uses high frequency beams of radio waves to provide high speed wireless connections that can send and receive video, voice, data information.Click here to continue reading

Visible light communication

Visible light communication (VLC) is the one that employs transfer of visible light between the wavelengths of 400 and 800 THz (780–375 nm). A subset of optical wireless communications technology is VLC.

The system employs conventional fluorescent bulbs (not special communications equipment) to carry signals at 10 kbit/s across short distances, or LEDs for up to 500 Mbit/s. Click here to continue reading
