Body Wearable Antenna

The body wearable antenna is designed to function while being worn. These type of antennas are commonly used in wearable wireless communication, bio-medical RF systems etc. Wearable antenna is used within the context of (WBAN) Wireless Body Area Networks . In WBAN, the antenna is the key component which supports wireless communication. That includes in-body communication, on-body communication and off-body communication. A wireless communication between human body and WBAN can be established by a wireless body area network connecting sensor, actuator and Iot node on the human body, or on clothes or under the skin.Wearable antennas can be used by people of all ages, athletes and patients for a continuous monitoring of vital signs, oxygen level and stress level.Click here to continue reading

Cooperative and Secure Wireless Communication

Secure wireless communications are needed in today’s world where we cannot find privacy in any devices we see. So Secretive information is needed with the help of cooperative and secure wireless Communications. Information secrecy is linked with cryptographic secrecy is used for secret-key exchange protocol for wireless networks. Cooperative Communications are used to reduce more power consumption and also increase the capacity of wireless networks.Click Here to continue reading

PHOTONIC NETWORK COMMUNICATION

The term photonics was 1st developed from the practical semiconductor light emitters  in the early 1960s .A photonic network uses light as a source to convey the information instead of electronic signals. Photonics is related to quantum electronics. A photonic device component uses laser diodes, optical amplifiers, LED’s and photovoltaic cells for creating, manipulating or detecting light. Photonic crystals are defined as periodic optical nanostructures which uniformly affect the motion of photons .Click here to continue reading

Microwave communication

Microwave communication is a transmission of signals by sending microwaves. Microwaves are radio signals with a very short wavelength .Microwave frequency ranges from 1GHZ to 300GHZ . Microwaves is used to communicate with geostationary satellites as microwaves have small wavelength and high frequency It is a line-of-sight wireless communication technology that uses high frequency beams of radio waves to provide high speed wireless connections that can send and receive video, voice, data information.Click here to continue reading

Visible light communication

Visible light communication (VLC) is the one that employs transfer of visible light between the wavelengths of 400 and 800 THz (780–375 nm). A subset of optical wireless communications technology is VLC.

The system employs conventional fluorescent bulbs (not special communications equipment) to carry signals at 10 kbit/s across short distances, or LEDs for up to 500 Mbit/s. Click here to continue reading

COGNITIVE RADIO SYSTEMS

Cognitive Radio System is a form of wireless communication in which a transceiver detects the communication channels which are in use and which are not in use.

The Cognitive Radio Network (CRN) is broadly classified into two major networks, a primary network and a secondary network. Cognitive Radio users are unlicensed users and they used to find unused licensed spectrum for their own use without causing any interference to licensed users.Click here to continue reading

Broadband wireless communication

Wireless broadband:

Wireless broadband is nothing but a telecommunications technology which provides high-speed wireless Internet access or computer networking access over a good area. The term is both fixed and mobile broadband. The word “broadband” features a technical meaning, but it became a marketing term for any sort of relatively high-speed network or Internet access technology. Click here to continue reading

SOLAR POWER SATELLITE

INTRODUCTION:

The solar energy Satellite System may be a concept to gather alternative energy in space, so transport it to the surface of the planet by microwave (or possibly laser) beam, where it is converted into power for terrestrial use. The recent increase in energy costs, predictions of the near-term exhaustion of oil, and prominence of possible temperature change are the effects of the "greenhouse effect" from burning of fossil fuels.Click here to continue reading

MicroLED

MicroLED, also known as µLED, has prominent flat-panel display technology. MicroLED displays are made of arrays of microscopic LEDs. MicroLEDs provide better contrast and energy efficiency in comparison with LCD displays. MicroLED provides reduced energy requirements offering an infinite contrast ratio. The nature of micro-LEDs being inorganic gives them a longer lifetime than OLEDs. In 2000, the new technology of micro-LED display was developed by the Texas Tech University professor Hongxing Jiang and Jingyu Lin. In 2012 the first micro-LED TV was demonstrated by Sony which was called the Crystal LED display.Click here to continue reading

WiMAX

WiMAX refers to Worldwide Interoperability for Microwave Access which is considered to be one of the popular broadband wireless technologies. It is created by WiMAX forum. WiMax is a scalable wireless platform which is an alternative to wired technologies to provide complementary broadband access to the customer premises. It is based on wireless MAN and IEEE 802.16 wireless communication standards. Compared to Wi-Fi technology, it operates at high rate and speed , long distance with many users. It is designed to provide a high data rate of 1 giga-bits/s and it provides MAC and multiple physical layers Click here to continue reading

STARLINK

Starlink is a SpaceX-operated satellite broadband constellation that provides satellite Internet connectivity to the majority of the Earth's surface. By mid-2021, the constellation will have grown to over 1600 satellites, with tens of thousands of mass-produced tiny satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO) communicating with authorised ground transceivers. While satellite internet service is technically feasible for the majority of the world's population, it can only be supplied in nations where SpaceX has been granted a licence to provide service inside a specific national jurisdiction. The beta service is accessible in 14 countries as of August 2021.Click here for continue reading

WI-VI (WIRELESS VISION)

Wi-Vi is one among the foremost modern technologies that modifies the Wi-Fi technology to form the concept of wireless vision possible.

The main idea behind this Wi-Vi is tracking and manipulation of reflected Wi-Fi Signal. There-fore it is also called as adaption of SONAR or RADAR.

In earlier technologies to map over the obstacles we need an array of special antennas, but it is more and more expensive. Here Wi-Vi uses simpler devices to receive signals. Click here to continue reading

SINGLE-ELECTRON TRANSISTOR

To avoid problems like power consumption challenges, high-performance, high-density chip design, and faster and more processing in transistors Mitri Averin and Konstantin Likharev proposed a new three-terminal device called single-electron tunneling transistor. Two years later Theodore Fulton and Gerald Dolan at Bells Lab in the US created this device and demonstrated its working and operation.
